@ShazrienEvol just watch it on KBSWorld YouTube... Now that it has been over a week (their delay), all are on there in a playlist. Not sure you will be able to endure it though. 101 episodes and so much stupidity, just ludicrous stuff, AWFUL excuses for humans...every excuse for vindictive, resentful EVIL wrongdoings, stealing ppls fiances, almost-40 going after a barely adult niece when her aunt says no+barging into e everywhere the extended family are to suck up , buying ppl off, holding 25+yr bridges and deciding that one person being hated warrants all manner of destroy-all-their-loved-ones-entirely in all kinds of ways, a mom sending thugs to harass customers to destroy her kid's business... Stuff that I don't think anyone can relate to or even imagine.... Oh and the perfect human who can be hit, called a slut and everything else is subservient to all and will make porridge for someone who cursed her, ruined her family making her take out loans etc, and literally shoved her around ... All because her now-ex who badly hurt her is still in her heart? Who will actually believe someone goes and not just cleans her ex's apartment and such but nurtures the vindictive destruction? It is 50 hours long... It starts pretty adorable, whiny brat and dumb as a rock naive mom stereotypes aside (and a doormat for his mother father who is pretty much a failure and can't protect himselfoor run his business but never bothers, with 3 kids, to go make money, just rely on the kid who pays all the bills)... BUT I can tell you that everyone wants to punch half the characters in half the episodes after a while, mme included...plus there is a LOT of sleaze, the kind I felt creeped out and dirty after viewing, in both a guy who, after failing with an aunt, goes after her niece--"19 yrs is nothing!"--barely 20....AND more pervasively in a rich stalky guy pushing and pushing harder for a shy submissive girl who isn't into him to be his, making lewd comments about what he wants to do in the bedroom with her(sex before kissing?), even taking her away, out of town even, when she was going to work under a guise of a simple ride-when she worked with her sweetheart and he was rich interference ditzomom set up over&over... The ending didn't help--not enough resolution to calm a good solid 35 hours of irritation. WATCH AT YIUR OWN RISK! House of Bluebird, same length, was infinitely better and also on their channel&similar in genre but with layers of depth (way better acting apart from Love on a Rooftop acting making me hate them a lot when intended, but hate the writer more!!)wwhile love on a Rooftop had layers of absurdity, total absurdity, and the main characters were less satisfying in the end (cute couple made awful) than an older aunt spinster who was being married off. If you cannot access YouTube, myasiantv.com (or now I think iit redirects to myasiantv.se) has it all hosted. Still, I really wanted to like it and loved some of the cast's older works, but while I stuck it out ONLY because I had watched so much I felt embarrassed and had to see it die out, maybe, I cannot recommend it when SO SO MUCH is out there that is so so good. Even Bluebird was something I felt mediocre about for allong while (bc "Kim Jiwan" the lead male is mister single expression and there is a girl who crushes on him in a main role who initially drove me a bit bonkers esp.with her mom-daughter relationship, and there is a superb actor as the boss who is so good at making you angry that at times I was just plain pissed;) but I can say that as it went, it picked up speed that was really slow for a long while, and the story of it, while not fully comprehensible as kdramas are notoriously illogical, almost experimental in terms of what kind of bizarre humans they depict, really came together and a couple of characters I expected to bemmostly insignificant really developed and matured, endured trials, fought with themselves and that sort of thing that feels more real than nonstop high pitched wailing of k-omas or is it omAHHHHHHHHHGHHHHa+AAAAGHHHHHjummas? ;) sorry to yell at the box. 101 episodes... 70 shouldn't have existed... Even the last 15 or so brought in a brand new character asyyet another love interest, all after there is a breakup to marry another and even a license is filled out (never resolved and I think the actress just got killed off like a soap character whose contract isn't renewed, all those comas ... So many car crashes and random disappearances!)
